Five months ago, during the semi-final match, our talented center forward Balwejira Mahad sustained a serious femur fracture. This has been a challenging period for both Mahad and the entire Elgon Football Academy family.
Since the injury, we have done everything within our means to support his recovery journey. However, medical specialists have now recommended surgery to properly align the bones and ensure a full and healthy recovery. This procedure will give Mahad the best chance to return to the pitch and continue pursuing his football dreams.
We kindly appeal to our friends, well-wishers, and the entire football community to support Mahad through this critical stage. Your contribution, big or small, will make a lasting difference in helping one of our brightest young talents get back on his feet.
Together, we believe Mahad will overcome this setback and wear the Elgon colors again with pride.
