Elgon Football Academy is located in Bugema town, Off Tororo Road, Mbale City in Uganda. The Academy strives to create a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes to develop their skills and achieve their goals. We are fully registered under Uganda Youth Football Association.
Egon Football Academy was established in 2020 by our founder and CEO, Isaac Bwayo. His vision is to nurture young football talent and enhance livelihoods within our community.
We aspire to see our players excel in both Uganda Premier League and European Leagues, showcasing their skills on prominent football stages.
Dedicated to nurturing football talent, we aim to provide comprehensive training programs to both athletic and personal skills of ours players, contributing positively to society.
General Training Sessions are conducted every Monday, Wednesday And Friday during holidays . Day scholar students train every weekend. These sessions are designed to enhance overall football skills and understanding of the game.
We started with 33 children in 2020 and currently have 76.
We also successfully registered under Uganda Youth Football Association
We have successfully organized the Elgon under 17 Holiday Tournament three times, proudly winning the inaugural edition.
Several of our players have earned bursaries, enabling them to further their education while pursuing their passion for football.
In 2024, we were runners-up in the Eastern Uganda Press Association Academy Tournament, demonstrating our competitive spirit and dedication
